The air was filled with a sense of patriotism and pride as The Adhyyan School recently came together to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas. More than just a date on the calendar, this day is a solemn reminder of the immense courage and sacrifice of our soldiers who fought valiantly to secure victory for our nation during the Kargil War.

Our celebration began with a heartfelt flag hoisting ceremony, a moment that brought students and staff together in reverence for the tricolour. As the flag soared high, it was a powerful symbol of our freedom and the unwavering spirit of those who protect it.

But this year, The Adhyyan School wanted to do more than just remember; we wanted to pay a living tribute. In a unique and meaningful gesture, we launched a green tribute through a plantation drive. Each sapling planted represents not only new life but also the eternal memory of our heroes. This initiative, which aligns with the spirit of growth and renewal, is our way of honouring their sacrifice and creating a lasting legacy.

This event was held in collaboration with Dainik Jagran’s “Bharat Raksha Parv” initiative, an effort to extend gratitude and remember the brave souls of our armed forces. It was a privilege to be a part of this larger movement, reminding us that the duty of remembering our heroes belongs to every citizen.
