The Structure
The school has an extensive Student Council System that identifies, trains, and empowers students to become future leaders. A leader knows how to show the way goes the way, and shows the way. A selection process involves the selection of students from Classes IV-V in the Primary Wing and Classes VI-XII in the Secondary Wing. Based on their abilities and skills, the selected students are assigned different posts. Their leadership skills and life skills are instilled and honed through rigorous physical and mental edification. The School Student Council is led by the School Captain who is the President of the Student Council from Class XII and by the Junior School Captain who is selected from Class V. They are ably assisted by Captains and Prefects Together, they help organize various events and contribute to the institution’s success.
How Selections are made?
A rigorous selection process determines the members of the Student Council. Students complete the Prefectural Form/ Leadership Inventory to assess themselves and explore themselves. After being selected for the interview process, the selected students have to go through three levels of interviews with house moderators, coordinators, and heads of schools. Various sessions on leadership attributes and adventure activities are conducted by the Leadership Camp to groom a selected group of students. Furthermore, the Student Council is responsible for dealing with various issues related to discipline, order, and behavior, as well as planning and executing events.
