Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PGT Social Studies (History/Civics/Geography) teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of social studies. They will be able to create engaging and stimulating lessons that will inspire students to learn. They will also be able to effectively manage the classroom and build positive relationships with students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in social studies (History/Civics/Geography) to students in grades VI to XII.
- Create and maintain a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in social studies education.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Studies (History/Civics/Geography) or a related field.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in social studies.
- Strong understanding of social studies concepts and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating lessons.
- Ability to effectively manage the classroom.
- Passion for teaching and a deep understanding of social studies.
