Scouts & Guides Camp
The Adhyyan School in Meerut recently hosted a Scouts and Guides camp on 9th February 2023, which saw enthusiastic participation from students of Classes 6, 7 and 8. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and survival skills, while also fostering a sense of community and collaboration among them.
The camp was organized by the school’s Scouts and Guides team and featured a range of exciting activities and challenges. Students were given opportunities to learn essential survival skills, such as setting up a camp, starting a fire, and navigating through the wilderness. They were also taught the basics of first aid, map reading, and knot tying.
Apart from these, the camp also had numerous team-building activities like group games, treasure hunts, and obstacle courses that encouraged students to work together and build camaraderie. The event proved to be an enriching and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Speaking on the occasion, the school principal praised the students’ enthusiasm and participation and highlighted the importance of such camps in shaping young minds. He also expressed his gratitude to the Scouts and Guides team for organizing such an insightful event.
