PRT SST
Description
The PRT SST is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating effective teaching and learning experiences for Social Science subjects in primary classes (1-5). They will work closely with other SSTs and PRTs to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to social science education across the school.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum and school's pedagogy.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and needs.
- Employ differentiated instruction to support students with varying abilities and learning paces.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide individualized feedback to students to help them improve their learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver integrated lessons that connect social science with other subjects.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Education
- NCTE/TET certification for teaching Social Science in primary classes
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in primary social science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning
