We are seeking a passionate and experienced TGT English teacher to join our dynamic team at The Adhyyan School, Meerut. As a TGT English teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love of language and literature among our students. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging English lessons that align with the CBSE curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the CBSE English curriculum for middle and secondary school students
- Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Employ a variety of teaching methodologies, including technology-integrated approaches, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to help students improve
- Maintain detailed student records and track their academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective English language learning programs
- Attend and participate in professional development workshops and training programs to stay abreast of current teaching methodologies and curriculum developments
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of language and literature among students
Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or a related field from a recognized university
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in English at the middle or secondary school level
- Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and effective English lessons
- Strong understanding of the CBSE English curriculum and assessment guidelines
- Expertise in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Passion for teaching English and a commitment to student success
